New CEO: Neville Grant has been appointed CEO of Bermuda Commercial Bank
Neville Grant has been appointed Managing Director of Bermuda Commercial Bank.
The appointment was made at this month’s meeting of the company’s board of directors.
After a “successful transition period”, Mr. Grant will assume the role of CEO as successor to Hubert Esperon, the company said.
Mr. Esperon will continue to work with the Board in his capacity as a director until February.
“I am proud of what we have accomplished as a team,” said Mr. Esperon. “We have fundamentally prepared Bermuda Commercial Bank to transform and enter a new period of growth.
“Neville’s leadership strength and banking experience will be a game-changer for BCB, and I wish him and his team the best.
Mr. Grant said: “Hubert and his team have put the bank in an excellent position. I look forward to furthering our commitment to providing innovative and efficient financial solutions to Bermuda-based and international business clients, individuals and service providers. “
Mr. Grant joined BCB in May as Commercial Director with nearly 30 years of banking experience, including senior banking positions at HSBC, both in Bermuda and internationally.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Andrews University and an MBA from Webster University.
