EUTeens4Green is one of the REGIO flagship projects of the European Year of Youth. It offers the opportunity for young people to participate in decision-making in EU cohesion policy. It focuses on regions that will be most impacted by the transition to climate neutrality, as they are heavily dependent on fossil fuels or carbon-intensive industries. Young people can help identify people at risk of exclusion as a result of the transition, propose actions to involve these people in their territory and choose subjects that are close to them.

It is aimed at young people aged 15 to 24. They can apply as an individual, a group of individuals or an association.

The budget for the call is 700,000 euros and the maximum contribution per project is 10,000 euros. The maximum duration of the project is 12 months.

The call is managed by a consortium made up of Startup Europe Regions Network (SERN), Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) and CEE Bankwatch Europe with the support of Generation Climate Europe.

The selection and start-up of young projects, around 70 projects, is planned for early 2023.
