Wynne’s Cross County Bank has announced a plan to rebrand the organization to one name – Cross Bank.

Currently, Cross County Bank operates four offices in Cross County as Cross County Bank and six offices in Craighead, Monroe, and Mississippi counties as First Commercial Bank.

The transition is expected to be complete by November 21. It includes the rollout of a new logo with a blue crossroads, which the company says “symbolizes our recognition that we’re here to help our customers make smart decisions in their financial journey.” “

“Unifying our bank under one name, Cross Bank, makes things easier for our customers and our communities… Our customers at Cross County Bank often do not recognize the ability to bank at our six offices at First Commercial Bank when it may be more convenient to do so,” said David Dowd, president and CEO of Cross County Bank, in a press release.

“The Cross Bank name honors our heritage and solidifies our future as a locally owned and operated community bank.”

Customers will not have to do anything to access their accounts or other services. The two banking brands have always been on a common system, Dowd said, so there are no software updates or changes needed other than the name.
